This is the new and improved blog! I was referred by a friend who has one here and its much easier than yahoo as you do not have to create accounts etc... Sorry to all of you that did :( I am sure you will however be glad that this one is easier to access etc... Oh god all these etc's and I sound like Mike (my dad).!!!
So MERRY CHRISTMAS,we hope you all had a lovely safe fun day and are still reeling from gorging yourselves on christmas feasts! Our day was reasonably busy, Tim was here in the morning but then flew to Bris Vegas at lunch. Mum dad and i then invited about a dozen orphans into our home to feast on a scrumptious bbq with all the yummy trimmings! (Just to clarify they were all friends of tim's and mine from around the traps not real unknown orphans!) It was a beautiful day with loads of laughs and christmas cheer. Naturally i was totally sober which was a little boring but none the less managed to enjoy myself thoroughly. I had made a gingerbread house for the day (see photo above) which nobody was very game to eat, this meant that i had to take it to work yesterday and it certainly did not last the 8 hour shift i was there. The ganats can always be trusted to demolish the leftovers!
PREGGO UPDATE: 11 weeks down with 29 to go, we starting to get excited....We have a scan on the 5th of Jan which supposedly the baby will look like a real human in (this is what the books say anyway). I can't wait to see our little bub and hope it may wave something around for us.... I am still feeling nauseated and tired at times but i am coping much better. There is no real bump to speak of yet, just a belly that looks like i need to have a colonic! PS Pregnesia was at its prime on xmas day when i managed to have my 2nd car accident, yes thats right i reversed into a car over the road on our way to drop tim at the airport....i felt like a serious ditz but tim kept it together and did not even seem annoyed !!! We could not find the people so in our good faith we left them a not in a waterproof plastic bag (as it was raining), they popped in later that morning but they have not yet phoned me regarding the details etc. WOOPS :)
Mum and dad are here mooching around with me, they only have 3.5 days left, which is a bit sad as the time has really flown by! I am sure they are looking forward to getting back as they can start decking out their new apartment for settlement which will hopefully be on the 15th Jan.... Naturally they are spoiling me with delicous food and help around the house, dad is even listening to mum and i when we ask him to do things ( i think expectant granfatherness agrees with him). Mind you he has not missed his opportunities to tell me how grumpy i've been on my off days!
So I will sign off now, i just have one more thing to say;
