What a month.......
Goodness me i can't believe its been so long since i blogged last!! How quickly things change and bubby grows!
October started with a visit from my mum, kates nana - Jenny! Kate took to her straight away with big smiles and lots of gooing and gaaing! It was a lovely 10days of cuddles, shopping, spoiling (of kate of course) and delicious cooking in true jenny style! It was very sad to see her go - Kate didn't smile so much for a couple of days as i think she truly missed her ever loving nana! Next came the arrival of my dear friend Ashley's bub - Hannah! The birth was beautiful and bub is doing perfectly.....In fact we are off to high tea with them this afternoon!
Kate is an absolute delight, she is a gorgeous happy baby who sleeps through (12hours a night), she rarely cries and just loves smiling and giggling...we are just sooooo lucky!
Kate & I have been keeping busy with lots of activities - mums group on tuesday morn, movies on wed morn and bushwalking on thurs afternoon! Not to mention lots of lunching and coffee with other mums and friends! The movies are a novelty for us mums and the bubs - all the babies were mesmerised with the big screen and none of them really even fuss, its lovely to do something a bit normal!
Bushwalking has been arranged by a lovely friend of mine Mandy and her bub emily who is 2 weeks older than Kate.....we are walking all the family friendly tracks around Hobart. The club is called tassie tots bushwalking club!
Kate is becoming her own personality more and more each day, she started chatting (gooing & gaaing) about two days before mum arrived and hasn't really stopped! Next she started to roll over - first to her side, then from her tummy to her back!!!! However, since then she is refusing to roll at all and flails like a seal on speed whenever we give her tummy time! The most intersting development is her sudden awareness of the surrounding environment - the cats, food & eating, television, Toys and especially stories & books.
Her thumb has become a very good asset and we often find her stroking her ear and hair with the other hand when she is tired! It's very cute :)
I have started back at work and we are all fine with that - tim and kate get to have some daddy & daughter time and i get to stimulate my brain on another level!
My boss and colleagues have been an amazing support and are genuinely interested and accomodating on bub and how we are all coping etc!
Tim & took bub camping last weekend (scarey I know) .... Naturally it was FINE!! We did however end up washed out of 'beautiful seymour' on the second day!!!
Anywho i best sign off now .... Chat soon to you all :)
lots of love Carolyn, Tim & Kate xoxoxo

Latest pics of the worlds cutest bub. . . .:)
Hi all, well what can i say things have been interesting!! Munchi had her first lot of vaccinations 8 days ago and things have been reasonably hairy (pooey & spewy really) ever since. Needless to say i thought that somebody had actually swapped our calm beautiful smiley girl for another baby who was just VERY CRANKY!!!
Luckily things are now back to normal and i think both her & I can function normally again.
The loveliest thing is that our little girl is growing more and more, she is giggling, gooing & gaaing in conversation and even had a little sing to herself yesterday. It is just soooo amazing! Tim & I are in total awe & love. Tim is posting some videos on Utube soon for those interested.
We are psyching up for the MIGHTY CATS to win tomorrow and even Kate has a special outfit picked out in respect for her Pop, Uncle & Dads favourite team...
Enjoy the photos below we loved taking them xoxo

7 Weeks and still CUTE!!!!
Hi All,
Well the biggest news is that beautiful Kate has started smiling, we haven't managed to capture it on camera but we are trying!!! She is gaining weight like a champion and growing faster than ever!! She's quickly leaving the newborn nappies behind and heading straight for double zero clothes! Last measurements were - weight 5.3kg (clothed), Length 53cm!!
Tim & I are adjusting to this new life of parenthood and still loving seeing our beautiful daughter growing each day!! We recently had a visit from the crazy aunts (Julia & Merri) which was soooo lovely for us all! We didn't do much with them but it was nice that we all could spend time with each other!
Kate seems to have a nack for blitzing her daddy in the excretement department - she does a big poo and then just as tim is transitioning dirty to clean nappy she wees all over everything, so then he gets to start again!! He's loving it!
Soxi seems a little jealous of all the cool toys that Kate has received and is hoping we won't notice her using Kate's things, i.e. playcentre, sheepskin, rockingchair...
Cleo is just taking it all in, not too fussed by much except Kate's crying, the small cries are ok but when she gets a runup and really bellows cleo is outta there!!!
Anywho best be off and feed the little munchi,
Take care everyone
Love us
xoxoxo
