Late last week we had our 20 week scan as you can see from the above pictures it is very hard to make out what's what . . . We think bub is going to be a contortionist in the circus as it was in a very odd and uncomfortable looking position, however the sonographer assures us everything is fine and they are extremely flexible at this point and bub was asleep in this weird possy. I am feeling loads of movement in my belly, this is lovely and reassuring but also distracting at times. For those of you struggling to work out the pics - top left is bubs foot, top right is its arm and hand (in a fist), bottom left bubs face front on (we feel a little demonic, tim thinks he has a pantera album with a similar photo as the front cover) and finally bottom right bubs head (in profile from the right hand side) the thing in the top left corner is its hand then under that directly is its forhead. If you are struggling click on the image and they will enlarge. Just call us if you need further interpretation.
Things are busy busy busy . . . . . Guests, work, uni, soccer . . . . . Cassie is currently with us for a few more days which is lovely, Adam and Adey were here last weekend - miss them living in Tas heaps. We tried to sell the beautiful Hobart to them . . . I know we've got buckleys though :) Cassie has promised she'll be back . . . . She has informed me that there is no possible way she could live here though as there is no good asian food - that is a big issue!
I started uni last week (grad dip of midwifery) - lots of reading & assignment work but i am loving it! The class group is small which is nice and they are all happy next semester for bub to come to class so i can continue studying while i breastfeed . . . I think they all just want to go to class with a cute bub! Work is busy i am back up to 10shifts a fortnight (i was on 8) on surgical specialties (burns, plastics, ENT etc) and i have been offered a permanent position which i am very pleased with as i love this ward and hope to mix both specialties (mid & Surg Specs) in my ongoing career.
All the family is well and all our lovely friends down here in Hobart too. We look forward to hearing from you all soon
Lots of love
Caz & Tim
PS i will post some bump photos in fortnightly succession soon
