Hello All
Baby Kate is doing beautifully . . . She is changing each day so we are taking millions of photos to keep record of this precious time. Most of you probably already know that the birth and breastfeeding issues have made this settling in period a little trying, however now we know where we stand with both we have moved on and our family is becoming a lovely little unit. Kate is sleeping reasonably well and therefore allowing us to feel semi human! Tim is back to work on monday (which should be interesting) and i am thinking about all the things she and i can do together that don't involve driving, lifting, stretching or bending!!!!
The furry daughters are starting to settle down and enquire as to what this tiny hairless being is that is hogging the attention of everyone that comes. Neither seem to perturbed by the squarking and both remain desperate for the TUNA!!!!!!
My mind is reasonably blank - i think they call it baby brain, however i can tell you that we have had our first outing and we survived. We had to go to town for an appt with our accountant for tax. We managed a pre appt coffee, a post appt lunch (sushi) and a visit to tim's work to show off the cute little package!!! After this we thought we would brave our favourite weekend wind down - RECTANGO - For those of you who don't know this is an outdoor, live music, ecclectic, bohemian collection of people gathering together on a Friday night for a couple of drinks. We were a little scared as Kate's witching hour usually starts about 4 and finishes around 8/9, however we all survived - Kate slept and we managed a drink and a chat with friends!!! We feel even more human now that life is settling in to a new kind of normal!
I'll post some more cute pics for you al to see tomorrow when i've had a bit more sleep
Lots of love
Caz, Tim & Kate
