Ballina, brisbane & THE WEDDING

The Wedding finally arrived (after 5 years of waiting) and everything went beautifully....not without its little hiccups but then it wouldn't have felt real without a few issues on the day. It was so lovely to see Kate & John and share this special day so intimately with them. They were so pleased to meet our gorgeous daughter and they look forward to welcoming there very own munchkin in Feb 2009. They are very dear friends to us and we love and miss them VERY much.
PS Hope you two are finally enjoying a more private honey moon

Happy Birthday Kate!! 1 year old Today!

Hi all
We can't believe its been a whole year since the three stage phase of our first childs birth. Needless to say all of us were far more relaxed than this time last year (and in a lot less pain)!
love to you all

Photos & Update

Things have been chaotic for a while with Kate being sick sick sick and Caz finishing uni.. Now i am on holidays and miss kate is well things are rosey and shiney again.
Kate is giving kisses, high 5's, clapping to music, dancing and just generally LOVING going through bags, books and music music music. She is talking (babbling) more and more each day and we also have a little sing together often in the car!
She is growing up so quick we can't believe our little bub is turning into a little girl. She loves her food (when she is not sick) and is eating mostly finger foods - lots of fruit and vege, meat, cheese, pasta and rice. She has her milk out of a straw cup and drinks water with a straw too.
The cats are finding her new found mobility and interest a little shall we say ANNOYING however they continue to stay around Kate's vicinity despite multiple fur pulls, tail pulls and general squashing, pinchin and fistfuls of fur grabbing.
Kate isn't walking but we are just letting her take each day at a time and see what happens. With Kate Renshaw's wedding fast approaching we are looking forward to a sunny holiday and some time with friends and family

May 2008

May saw a visit from nana & pa, the assembly of baby gates to contain the very proficient and inquisitive crawler and lots of grizzles, temperatures and tissues with our first run of winter woes. Mothers day was spent with nana and pa - all 5 of us shared a gourmet lunch and then a roast lamb for dinner and a nice bottle (or a few) of red wine which i decided to share with our rug. Kate then topped the stain off with a huge pumpkin coloured spew. I think maybe she thinks she's the next prohart as she has tried numerous colours in her room. Daddy also managed to experience first hand kate's very first aqua-turd, which after much negotiation he cleaned up ! I think he felt it was an important moment in life and therefore needed to be blogged about. We received our first birthday package from the States and enclosed were some SERIOUSLY adorable outfits which you can look forward to seeing soon...
Enjoy the pics

Hi all,
Hope this finds you all happy and well. Enjoy these photo's. Here are just a few quick updates from the last few weeks;
  • Our lovely daughter has had her first bout of illness - a double ear infection, a reaction to the penicillin used to fight the ear infections and then a terrible case of gastro :( Poor bubalicious...
  • Lots of spew and poo later we are now bulking up! For the first time in her life she is excited about her bottles and is drinking them ALL!!
  • The wind storm at the beginning of the month was HUGE, winds clocked at 170km/hr in our little suburb in Hobart and stuff flying all over the place.
  • Admidst the illness i submitted my first two assignments and received great marks for them both. I have had two weeks off uni but am back on deck now with all cylinders firing!
  • Tim has been home a whole MONTH!!!! I am sure that won't last long but we are making the most of it.
  • We spent the long weekend with great friends, delicious food and of course lots of wine....Kate and Naomi crawled within minutes of each other on this holiday, the highlight of our trip ....
I'm sure there is soooo much more but its late and i can't remember and you are all really just interested in the photo's...Take care to you all everywhere in the world
