Well FINALLY!!!
I can't begin to explain to everyone how sorry i am for the delay in this installment. I am officially announcing to the world that our lives are TOO BUSY!!!! Study is going well for me but it is crunch time and i have two assignments due tomorrow - wish me luck. Work is great but three days a week feels like ALOT.

Tim is well but busy with work and still travelling heaps. He is back playing soccer but is yet to make a game, he's enjoying training each week though. MND association is also keeping him busy. They have launched 'entertainment books' in tassie this year so we are both working hard to build up the awareness and get people buying them for .

I know what you all really want to hear about is our Miss Kate.

Well what can i say she is gorgeous...yes still! She is not yet crawling but quite mobile none the less. She cracked her fourth tooth yesterday oh and i locked her in the car two days ago. Yes to all you mums out there it is a nightmarish experience the minute you realise you've done it and the panic sets in. Luckily I was at my dear friend Kylie's place and together with Naomi we strategised how to get my most precious possession free from our little black hotbox. I could not stop hearing those tv ads that tell you children die in cars in minutes. With Ky's help i kept it together and finally after what felt like hours, but was only about 20 minutes. My knight in shining armour arrived in the taxi with his keys. We released our princess from the clutches of the evil black machine and the story ended sweatily, thirstily but never the less happily!
Now my knight in shining armour is revelling in the fact that i did this and not him as we both know for him the aftermath would be much worse....

With four teeth our gorgeous daughters face has changed, her grin is even cheekier and her laugh is infectious. She has started clapping, bopping to songs and doing a little irish jig when you hold her under her arms with her feet just touching the ground.

She is loving more and more her interaction with little friends - Naomi, Hannah, George, Pippa, James and of course her most beloved big friends Adelle & Jess (her daycare worker) whenever she sees any of these little and big people she starts flapping her arms and legs as if she's going to fly away and starts making an excited aaahh aaaahh noise. Wiht the little people they snatch and grab from each other, laugh and smile. Just last weekend KAte was laying her head on Naomi's back in a tender loving way and they were giggling away together on tuesday afternoon over nothing but each other (after i locked her in the car). Hannah thinks Kate is hilarious as she passes hannah a toy and then snatches it straight back. It is so nice to see this interaction and see how lovely natured she is.

The other thing that makes her giggle is tims 5 O'Clock shadow - he just rubs her hand or foot on his face and she giggles like a maniac.
I can procrastinate no more,
Enjoy the pics
lots of love to you all
xoxo Carolyn :)

Still waiting for photo's :(

Greetings Everyone,
Sorry for the lack of photographic evidence! I am struggling to upload the images at the moment. I do have some supercute shots to show you all but you will have to remain in suspense mode...
Sunday saw Kate turn 8 months old. We naturally can't believe how quick this time has gone. She is on the move (backwards) and clapping her hands both easter developments. She is enjoying a varied diet of slow cooked beef casserole with parsnip and potato to cream cheese sandwiches, yoghurt, lamb, kiwifruit pretty much anything she can she has tried and loves it! She is starting to move into finger foods which is fun but VERY MESSY!!
Easter was quiet and relaxed at home with me studying and Kate getting her fourth tooth (so not so quiet!!??
Life is so busy we can hardly keep up...Tim is away at least once a month for work, I am studying (at least trying) and working as well as being great parents!
We all miss everyone VERY much and look forward to seeing you all at some point over the next few months.
xoxo Lots of love hugs and smooches
Caz, Tim & Kate :)

So Serious....

Well 6 months on and we are all still smiling...especially Kate!!! January 1st we arrived home from our tropical holiday (which wasn't so tropical) to hot hot hot Hobart. Kate settled in nicely to daycare and by the 19th we were in South Australia for a delightful wedding of our dear friends Adam & Adey..... Home again and then i went back to work for 3 days a week, we bought Kate a highchair and she and Tim started Swimming lessons....Below and above are some pics for you all to enjoy.

I will start back at Uni at the end of Feb studying Grad Dip in "Burns Nursing" and am looking forward to the brain tickling .... Kate is changing, growing and i know its hard to believe but getting cuter, sweeter and more delightful each day!! Tim & I are sickeningly smitten with our amazing creation and are happy to bore you all to tears with too many details of her everyday moves....

Tim is travelling more and more with his new job (implementing a new patient info system in the public hospitals) and whilst it is great experience it is difficult on all of us, particularly him!

Love to you all

xoxo Carolyn :-)

Well here we are, Kate is 5.5months!! She has really grown over the christmas break. Whilst in Brisbane she grew two bottom teeth, a very strong back & neck for sitting up & a cute little voice that now says dadad, bubbub, lalala!!! Of course the grandparents and uncles loved having her around for some quality time. It was a lovely family christmas with lots of laughs and great food.

January is a crazy month for us ... weddings, work & visitors. Hopefully february will bring a more settled time and enable more blogging

Hope you enjoy the photos

Caz xoxo
